The EDC is pleased to provide a subsidy of $25 to each conference registrant. :
Student Bursary
As part of the EDC’s professional learning focus, please note that any
FULL-TIME student, currently registered in a undergraduate, Masters, or
PhD program at a recognized institution is eligible to apply for a bursary
that will cover the full conference fee. The EDC has set aside
a maximum of $3,000 for this initiative for the Winter Conference 2012.
This amount will be divided equally among students who apply. The bursary
can be used only for conference fees, not for accommodation or other costs.
To apply, please email Marla Arbach (marla.arbach@gmail.com) identifying yourself as a full-time student, your university and program, your interest and involvement in educational development, and your reasons for wishing to attend the Winter Conference. Bursary applications must be received by DECEMBER 31, 2011 to be considered. Applicants will be advised of the status of their application by JANUARY 16TH to facilitate their conference registration and planning.
Registration Deadline
The last date to register for the EDC conference is February 10, 2012.
Cancellations on or before February 10, 2012 will be refunded, less an administration fee of $25. Following the deadline, refunds cannot be made.
However, a replacement registrant from the same institution may be substituted.
