A division of the Centre for Learning and Teaching, the three units of Instructional Media Services (IMS) offer expertise and support to the university in the areas of media production and distribution, classroom and presentation technology, and technical services.
AV Services supplies equipment, training, and support to students, staff, and faculty. Video and Audio Production Services offers a full range of creative and production services for educational, promotional, or other academic or administrative purposes. The Technical Services shop repairs and services electronic equipment on a charge-back basis. We service many types of equipment, including audio and video recorders, monitors, computers, and all types of projectors. We also provide a preventive maintenance service that involves dismantling, cleaning, and replacing worn parts.
